Mastering Basic Arithmetic with Timed Math Testing Environment
Sawmill Software Corporation has published two software applications that are implemented in classrooms and home computer systems across the country.Measure-Matic – English/Metric is providing educators a fantastic solution for teaching measurement concepts. Slowly but surly, department and state desition makers are realizing how important it is that students understand measurement concepts. Sawmill Software has received a lot of positive feedback not only from educators, but from the industries that offer jobs to our young students.
Currently, Measure-Matic is testing thousands of students, employees, and individuals in the many different trades. The basic elements of mathematics should be reviewed even at a college level. Many students between seventh and twelfth grade are struggling with advanced curriculums for the simple reason they don't incorporate enough time and/or practice into mastering the foundation of mathematics.
Sawmill Software’s goal is to help educators help students prepare for the real world, find jobs, manage their education, and prepare for college.
Measure-Matic – English/Metric is a complete solution for anyone that needs to sharpen their understanding of reading and making measurements. The software provides an array of interactive rulers at different levels of complexity that prepare an individual to compete for jobs, and communicate measurement concepts within the classroom and/or workplace.

Your Math Buddy – General Math builds a persons ability to memorize general math facts, prepare for timed math tests, and solve more complex equations that require a good understanding of basic arithmetic.
Currently, Your Math Buddy is implemented in my school systems, trade schools, and home computer system across the country. It has become obvious that students are building a better understanding of basic arithmetic that will provide a better student that is more capable of moving onto and understanding more complex mathematics.
Your Math Buddy can be set with multiple student accounts at different ages and grade levels. The software can be modified for each student with regards to test settings, timer settings, and complexity. Equations can be generated in either a random or exclusive order.
